Very easy to install. eeePC 1000 sees the drive correctly as a 16 gig drive

faster than the stock ssd that was in my eee pc and larger, which is why i purchased it

now i need to think of ways to fill that extra space

I used this SSD to upgrade my ASUS 900. Did not benchmark, but it is significantly faster than the factory 4g SSD. Space enough to install W7 without problem and with Ubuntu or FreeBSD I still have free 80% of the SSD
