Samsung Highlight

Nowadays everyone wants a device to manage their schedule, access social networking services, and play the occasional music video--all on a touchscreen that resembles a Star Trek tricorder. The Samsung Highlight ($130 with a two-year T-Mobile contract,...

Big, bright screen ; Customizable interface

Too expensive ; Built-in apps are unreliable

The call quality was hit-and-miss. I experienced an inordinate amount of dropped calls in the first couple of days, but that was probably due to T-Mobile network problems rather than the phone itself, because it stabilized fairly quickly. I was...

Samsung Highlight

The 3-inch resistive touch screen is a hair smaller than the Behold's 3.1-inch LCD, though it offers the same 240-by-400-pixel resolution. The good news: the screen responds quickly to your fingers, with a slight bit of haptic feedback that improves...

Responsive touch screen. TouchWiz interface works well. Excellent battery life

microSD card slot is underneath the battery. Both color choices are garish

The entry-level Samsung Highlight is a good choice for T-Mobile subscribers looking for a touch screen handset that's easy to use.

Samsung Highlight

While the iPhone is to most, the be all and end all touchscreen smartphone, there are other devices out there that offer a full touchscreen interface. In steps the Samsung Highlight available on T-Mobile in the US and promising to give you an...

Smaller than the iPhone, responsive touchscreen

No Wi-Fi, screen is on the small side, no 3.5mm jack

The phone performs well, the camera offers pictures, but nothing that will blow you away and there is little to complain about. It's Samsung being Samsung and therefore not really offensive in any way in terms of usability and specs. Aside from Wi-Fi...

Samsung Highlight

The Samsung Highlight is a slim touch screen cell phone that has a lot going for it: 3G connectivity with T-Mobile's Web2Go interface, 3-megapixel camera, solid battery life, and impressive call quality. Plus the cell phone even comes with included...

Slow OS and occasionally glitchy, okay camera

Back in 2009 when I was due for an upgrade, there was a larger selection of non-smart phones to choose from. Having come from a Samsung SGH-X495, I was very eager to upgrade to a better phone. I didn't feel like paying a data plan for the My-Touch 3G...

Battery lasts around 5 days when charged all the way up, phone is very durable (with exception of the touch screen), TouchWiz OS is very easy to use. Camera has mediocre photo quality.

Useless after about 1-2 years because it starts to lock up, turns on and off by itself, etc. (Read summary) Signal can lie sometimes. Touch screen is plastic yet scratches easily; but what's to expect? Terrible photo/video quality in low light.

It's unresponsive, and I dislike it.

I dislike it.

It's small, and durable

You can't use regular headphones with it, it randomly shutts off, it's stupid.

My only complaint is trying to download music. I've not a novice, but not a genius either. Help.
