Great litle mouse. Tried it on three machines one laptop two desktop. One Linux machine and two windows XP Pro. No problem with distance. Worked as soon as pluged in. Standby featrure saves battery life

Button on receiver hard to find first off and buttons do need a little effort the first time used, but after that it's just fine

For me it only works about 8" from the USB receiver, since this is on the left side of my laptop it makes the mouse useless to me

Everything else ; Requires far too much force to press buttons ; poorly buit; feels like it would shatter if I were to drop it ; Very short range: no matter what they advertise, it only works from 1.5 ft at max. ( for me at least)

Very convenient for restoreable the receiver, I believe no one have ever had the idea like this
