Turtle Beach VTS-3522-100 Midi KB USB TEACH ME PIANO KIT - Retail

I know it works with my wife's XP laptop.

It does not work with VISTA. The way I see it, Vista rules in all the ways possible, but Turtle Beach does not support Vista yet. Their website is pointless, with a series of text documents that are supoosed to help.

Cable works fine, plugged in Casio CTK611 to my laptop and it just plain worked (XP Pro).

I did a stupid and lost power to the keyboard. When it stopped working I assumed it was software so I installed their drivers. Not good. Uninstalled. Just let XP find the hardware and deal with it, it works just fine.

The cable worked great on my Windows XP machine right out of the box.

The package containing the cable was sloppily ripped open when I first received it - but I did notice that the firmware of the cable was already updated so that may be why it was previously removed from the packaging (very messy looking anyways).

Works fine with my AMD64 XP laptop and Yamaha Clavinova piano.

At first, MIDI input was erratic and laggy.
