The Plustek OpticFilm 120 pairs an excellent scanner with a poor choice of scan utility, but is still worth considering, particularly if you're open to buying a third-party program.
Scans 35mm and medium-format film. Hardware-based dust and scratch removal. Automatic feeder.Has a rated optical resolution of 5,300 by 5,300 pixels per inch.
Scan utility can preview only the first slide or frame of film. Scan choices are limited to either the first image or everything in the carrier.
If you don't need to scan anything larger than 35mm slides or film, you can get acceptably good results with much less expensive scanners, like the Plustek 8200i Ai or even the Epson V550. Similarly, if you need to scan larger film, you might want to...
