Sharp image as for a fisheye lens.

Flare shows when the subject is taken close to a strong light source. The front element is unprotected since the lens construction doesn't allow for a lens filter to be installed.

I guess fish-eye lenses don't get used a lot so a purchase may seem a little luxurious so after careful consideration I plumped for the sigma 15mm rather than the obvious Nikon 16mm. The cost was great and purchasing simple. Upon arrival an unboxing it...

Straightforward fisheye prime lens. You just put it on, and off you go. As a 15mm, it is probably the least extreme example foo this kind of lens, and therefore produces images that are not too extreme. Autofocus seems fast and reliable.

Build quality is probably perfectly adequate for enthusiast, but it is quite plastic and I do not think it would survive any rough treatment.
