Smooth operation, good image. Small for power

No auto focus

lovely lens and the quality was perfect

It's a shame that you don't mention that it doesn't have auto focus as was not compatible with my Nikon D40 and had to return it.

It bridges the gap and avoids the continual changing of lenses when outdoor.

A little stiff

Good is the extreme length of zoom & almost macro continuous focusing.

Bad is the way the zoom ring is opposite to almost all my other lenses
