Super sharp with stunning colours and details, using on a D610. Lovely build quality and focus window with weather seal is nice to have. Weight is nice and feels quality, great range on Full Frame.

Active VR would of been nice for panning but no big deal.

A very understated and underrated Nikkor lens. Resolves detail brilliantly. Can't go wrong with it. Worth it.

Maybe a similar construction as the Nikkor 17-35mm f2.8 AF lens. It would push the overall cost up though.
