A doddle to fit to my 400mm prime lens. (Canon) With a tripod, one can get great moon shots. My bird shots too have gotten much better being able to get "closer" without disturbing them.

Does what it says on the tin. Easy to use and so far has produced some excellent quality photos as long as you understand how to use it, e.g. only with telephoto (EF) lens not the EF-S lens.

Have tried with 18-55mm and 70-300mm lenses. The 18-55 was not great, but it is a cheap lens with fiddly manual focus. The results with the 70-300mm are very good, giving me a 140-600mm for a very reasonable price. Test shots show deffinate extra...

As the auto-focus only continues to function with lenses less than or equal to f4, this effectively means that all your lenses become manual focus (unless you have a very expensive lenses like the Nikor 300mm f2 which costs over £2000).

Still seemed a bit pricey, even though it was cheaper than the official canon one!

Surprising solid build, was expecting a bit of a plastic feel but pleasantly surprised

Can slow down the autofocus, or sometimes at least seems to; manual focus has to be used in low light as it obviously cuts down on light entering the camera. Using Aperture setting allow 2 stops. Whether the genuine Nikon version is worth another £200+...

Price and quality

Have to manual focus on long lenses

Good value, but buy the sigma teleconvertor for better quality and compatibility

Did not autofocus on Sigma 70-200 f2.8.
