Fujifilm Fujinon XF23mm f/1.4 Lens

Great IQ but awfully slow focus even on an XT-2. Maybe I had a bad copy?

Autofocus speed surprisingly slow. I ended up opting for the little 23mm f2.

Image quality Size and weight

I found that the AF being very noisy, almost a grinding sound. Apparently this is normal as a lot of other users have experienced the same issue.

Exceptional image quality even wide open at f1.4. Love the more traditional aperture ring with 1/3 stops easily selected. Highly recommended.

Manual focus ring is slightly too light for my liking, however, it is not a big issue and doesn't make the lens any less fun to use.

Great IQ, smallish, 35mm equivalent, fast.

Af could be faster, quite a lot of CA wide open.

Extremely well built, very sharp, high quality lens.

Only just started using it but it is stunning optically. Feels beautifully engineered. Shooting at f1.4 is a delight.

Not a complaint but be aware that it is relatively large and heavy. It has to be for this f-stop. But if you have the 27mm f2.8 pancake for those occasions where you need to go lightweight you'll be laughing.

Fantastic lens - superb optics.

Expensive :-( but worth it!
