Comes with terrible anti-virus that really slows it down. I had Norton buried very deep in my system files which took a while to uninstall after a month of persistant performance problems. Once uninstalled all the problems stopped and its been working...

Intel Core i7 processor (super fast/responsive). Brilliant screen. Fantastic speakers. Plenty of USB ports and storage space. Overall great for home entertainment and my animation/graphic design work.

Battery life is pretty average. Quite heavy (although I'd expect this considering the screen size).

It is a wonderful machine but is taking a while to get used to as it is so advanced

No lid open button/toggle so opening the lid can be clumsy/awkward. Windows 8 doesn't bring much to the package without a touch screen interface.
