There's a definite premium for all of this desktop functionality in a portable, notebook style machine. However, if you're willing to spend the money and need a less fixed computing solution, the HP Pavilion HDX9003TX is a great choice.

With its HDX series, HP has taken the desktop replacement concept and raised the bar considerably. As such it's a very attractive machine and though the lack of a Full HD display to match its HD DVD drive may be disappointing, the superlative design...

At $3000, the earlier model is a better deal given its nearly comparable performance, but if you need extra storage and you work with high-end graphics that require an Extreme processor--and price is no object--you'll be happy with this HDX
