The DVD drive failed within the first month

The laptop is everything that I needed and I am so pleased with my purchase.

A bit heavy but I knew that when I purchased it.

This lap top is fantastic. I don't know much about computers but all of my techy friends are annoyed that I have a better lap top than them and paid much less for it! No complaints at all.

Only one thing - the volume does't turn up quite as high as I'd like it for tv/music.

My parents bought me this for my birthday to help me with my school work and revision. It is very lightwdeeight and looks good! It has a lovely display and good sound. The battery life is actually quite good, and it is very fats, with plenty of memory....

Windows vista too slow I have taken vista off and loaded XP. ten times faster now. One problem. I can not find a windows XP sound card driver for conexant high - definition audio so no sound. No doubt I will source one shortly. Battery will not last...

Lovely case, dedicated wireless on/off button located above the keyboard, really soft touchpad buttons, speedy thanks to 2 gb ram and a dual core processor, pretty good graphics for an integrated chip, cool blue light that glows around power connector...

Lack of card reader, pc express slot and external volume slider, also the battery only gets about an hour and a half of life.
