Fujitsu LifeBook SH771 laptop

A 13.3in laptop that's thin and light, yet equipped with a DVD burner and a full-voltage Intel Core i5 CPU

Design ; Thin and light ; Keyboard

Touchpad ; Glossy screen ; Keyboard not backlit

The SH771 is worth checking out if you're looking for something with more features than an Ultrabook, but with a similar form factor. It's well built and looks good and it doesn't make many compromises when it comes to connectivity and specifications....

Fujitsu LifeBook SH771

The SH771 is a decent laptop that provides power and flexibility thanks to its full complement of ports, battery options and weight-saving features. The odd battery bug is vexing, though, and we hope Fujitsu is able to rectify it soon.

Good battery life, going toe to toe with lower power ultrabooks ; 7200rpm hard drive

Weird bug that causes the laptop to hibernate at 10 per cent battery, regardless of setting

Review: Fujitsu LifeBook SH771

A thin and light Ultrabook with a high price tag.

It is a good laptop, but it costs too much and delivers too little for the price tag.

A perfect example of what ultrabooks hope to change about thin and light computing.

Fujitsu LifeBook SH771 Ultrabook review

A perfect example of what Ultrabooks hope to change about thin and light computing.

There is a lot to like about Fujitsu’s SH771, which likely would have scored higher a mere six months ago. However Intel has since shifted the goalposts for what we expect from mobile computing. Despite the fact that the SH771 shows that a real Core i5...

Circular scroll isn't that great

Fujitsu LifeBook SH771 review

One of the biggest things Intel has done with its Ultrabook push is to shift expectations of thin and light laptops. Despite the fact that we haven't seen them hit the kind of price points promised when we first heard about Ultrabooks, they offer thin...
