A great desktop replacement that is ironically undercut by an almost identical but significantly cheaper model from Gateway.

Tough-to-beat price. Intel quad-core processor. Top-tier graphics card. Excellent typing experience. Numeric keypad included. Big battery delivered very good score. Relatively light for a 17-inch.

Design could use a huge splash of imagination. Screen resolution isn't scaled high enough for a hard-core gaming laptop.

Four-core processor on a notebook is impressive ; pair that with 1GB dedicated graphics RAM (Crysis uses the whole gig) and you've got a killer gaming notebook. Big plus for the HDMI port and the eSATA port. Good price for what you get
