The Dell XPS 13 OLED is the latest iteration of the companys flagship ultrabook, featuring a new OLED screen to boost the picture quality.
The absolute best laptop screen for the price ; Speedy productivity performance ; Class-leading laptop design ; Lots of configuration options
Short battery life ; Stingy port offering

The Dell XPS 13 (Intel 11th Gen) has seen an Intel Tiger Lake processor upgrade, making the wold's best Windows laptop even more powerful.
Best performance seen in a Windows Ultrabook;Improved battery life;Drop-dead gorgeous design;Bright and colourful screen
More expensive than rivals;Still stingy on ports; Not as powerful as MacBook Air

We said at the time that this was a system that moved the needle on laptop design, taking a cue from the past few generations of television design, where screen bezels have already been squeezed to nearly nothing. Dell called it the infinity display...
Dell's revamped XPS 13 has a nearly borderless display, a very small body for a 13-inch laptop and the latest Intel CPUs. Battery life in this lower-end configuration gets a big boost.
Dropping the higher-resolution screen and edge-to-edge glass overlay means the look is not as slick, and losing touch makes Windows 8 harder to use.
Taking a second look at the new XPS 13, this lower-end version costs less and has better battery life, but isn't as tightly designed.

Dell now steps to the forefront with a laptop design tweak that feels so obvious, it's a wonder we haven't seen it before. Taking a cue from the past few generations of television design, the screen bezel, the outer border of glass and aluminum that...
Dell's revamped XPS 13 has a nearly borderless display and a very small body for a 13-inch laptop, plus the latest Intel CPUs.
Upgrades can get expensive; a touchscreen isn't included by default; the boost from the new CPU is minimal.
This new Dell XPS 13 is the first great laptop of 2015, but it owes that title more to a smart design revamp than Intel's new processors.

With the XPS 13 OLED, the best laptop meets the world's best display technology
Breathtaking 3.5K OLED display ; Striking, ultra-thin design ; Portable yet sturdy chassis ; Fast performance ; IR camera and fingerprint sensor
Battery life takes a hit with OLED ; Limited port selection ; No webcam shutter ; Weak graphics
Dell's XPS 13 OLED equips our favorite laptop with the best display yet — there are some sacrifices, but the overall package is mouthwatering.

The XPS with a flexible hinge for greater versatility it back with improved Intel innards. So how does it stack up?
Ultra-bright screen - even with lower-res version ; Intel Xe graphics is a big gaming boost ; It's light and slim enough
Stylus not included ; Very shallow keyboard ; Pricier than much of the competition
This 2-in-1 has everything a great hybrid laptop needs: it’s light but well-made, it has one of the best non-4K screens going, and Intel’s new Xe GPU is even fit for some challenging games. Just make sure you're fine with a shallow, clicky keyboard...

With the display downgrade from 16:10 to 16:9, Dell has created an entry-level XPS at an attractive price. The 16:9 panel isn't a bad choice, and it's even better than the 16:10 one in some respects.
bright, high-quality Full HD display;high performance per watt;quiet or moderately loud under load;respectable audio quality;upgradeable M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 SSD;fingerprint reader;small, light, and slim design;fast microSD reader;good colors out of the box
RAM and WLAN are soldered and not upgradeable;low gaming performance;no webcam shutter

The Dell XPS 13 is a beautiful Ultrabook that sacrifices some features in order to look so good
Design and build quality ; Performance ; Size and weight
Very limited amount of ports ; Screen could be better ; Touchpad drivers need work
There's no doubt the Dell XPS 13 is a beautiful laptop. Its carbon fibre base and Gorilla Glass components not only look good, they give the laptop plenty of strength. Furthermore, the XPS 13 is a fast unit thanks to its Core i7 CPU and 256GB SSD. It...

We've had many people asking us about Linux, and the Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition is the perfect machine for normies to dip their toes in.
The Dell XPS 13 design is still outstanding ; Great build quality ; Amazing display ; Very good performance ; Decent speakers ; Small, light, and portable ; Probably the best pre-installed Liniux option currently
Limited ports ; Speakers are bottom mounted ; May be a bit pricey considering Ubuntu Linux is a free OS

Seeing that I was satisfied with the Dell XPS 13 Plus, it makes sense to give the regular Dell XPS 13 model a little attention too.
durable, compact and lightweight design ; fingerprint and face unlock ; fair performance and quiet fans under normal loads ; fair battery life with casual use ; good speakers
hardly any IO, including missing headphone jack and Microsd ; no upgrade options ; my unit had uneven feet
