Russell Hobbs 1710 Solo Microwave

Does what it says.

One of the few microwaves which needs the manual on hand to remember what programme does what. Needs a reference sticker.

The bleep that sounds every time a button is pressed is a very irritating pitch

It beeps to remind that something is in oven. Compact. Efficient defrost. Clean lines, looks good.

No real bad points, it does all it promises. Controls took a little getting used to but no problem.

Good value for money, easy to use (once you have had a quick read through the instructions), looks good, easy to clean.

Sometimes the glass plate doesnt go round properly and has to be repositioned.

Lightweight. Easy to unpack and install.

Base feet slippery on counter. Unable to pause to adjust cooking time during cooking, have to cancel and start again. Keypad entry difficult. Turntable difficult to replace properly when it becomes dislodged.

This is a great little microwave that has a lot more features than I will ever use (I only use it to reheat coffee and heat ready meals really). You can pre-program it to come on and defrost at a later time (say to start defrosting meat for the...
