It makes ice.

Very noisy - makes a constant whirring sound similar to an old microwave at full tilt. Crushes ice but does not flake ice as depicted in the photos. Leaks water from the bottom of the unit.

Makes ice quickly. Water from dispenser is cold. The crushed ice is probably as close as you can get to flake/flaked ice/rabbit pellets/Sonic ice/hotel ice without buying a $2000 ice flaker.

Cubes melt somewhat faster than preferred but they are soft for chewing. Loud machine. I would not want this near a quiet/sitting area. The fan on it makes noise and it is not insulated like a full-size fridge is so the ice cracking/dumping is noisy...
