OEM in perfect condition.
Norelco 4000 shave feels like a massage. Smooth as possible. Dry shaves well, wet shaves awesome.

Does what it is supposed to do -- that is, shave clean and edge sideburns. If you wear a beard, you might want a different shaver/trimmer.
Bought this as a gift for my son. He tells me it gives him a very close shave without irritation.

I truly expected to be paying over $100.00 when i decided to replace my aging shaver and was shocked at the price of this at $69.00. Too good to be true kept running through my head but its true.....best shaver i have ever owned at a great price.
Having used Norelco triple head shavers for 40 years, this is by far the best i have ever used. Closest shave of any shavers before, as close as your gonna get to a razor shave. Incredibly easy clean up with the hinged swing away head and rinse out and...
I honestly can't think of one... oh wait, yeah, it doesn't put the after shave on!

I bought this to replace an older Norelco Arcitec razor which needed new, very expensive heads. I wasn't sure what to expect because the price was a lot less, about what the head would cost for the older unit. WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE!! Fast, smooth shave...
None so far.

I bought this as a replacement for a Norelco shaver I had used for many years. It needed two parts (the shaver head holder, and the blades). The parts could be easily ordered and replaced, but would cost about the same as this new shaver. The older...
It works nicely, and easily lasts for a week between charges. It is reasonably quiet. The wet shave feature is nice, using the included shave cream. It has the pop-up trimmer feature.
No travel case is included. Replacement parts (including blades) are very expensive. There is no "gas gauge" to display the battery charge level.

I had a hard time spending sixty for the thing but the description said it would work with longer hair. It works.
I'm an older person and have used many devices to shave. This machine takes less time than others. It cuts the hair off in only a few passes with no noticeable stubble. It works good with 4-5 day growth. It can be cleaned with water.
At first my neck got irritated using it but after a month or so it was much better. The booklet with it described that might happen at first.

If this unit last as long as my older one which is going on about 5 years trouble-free usage, I'll certainly have got my satisfaction from it.. I prefer the Philips shaving system over others that I have tried, such as the Remington screen type systems...
I got this to replace an older Norelco/Philips XP that was about 3x this price when new, but now needs new heads, and probably a battery at some point, as it's going on 5 years.. Buying this model would be about the same cost as the replacement parts...
I am a little surprised that the heads do not shave as quickly or efficiently as the more costly XP model, but then I was sort of anticipating that .. Funny, they look about the same, and I assumed that the cost saving was for the 'frills' - charging...

it cuts very well. I get razor burn easy and this is my first electric razor so I decided to do it in the shower without cream... not a good idea. a few days later used it with the cream and it was great. kind of hard to get used to but have been...
cuts well, umm yeah
easy to get razor burn, the trimmers are not good at cutting

Takes a while to get use to the three circular blades; Circular faace motion works best. Give it a week to get use to it.
Easy to clean; use it in the shower; long lasting charge.
Underpowered when compared to my old panasonic. Wouldn't recommend this for someone with heavy beard growth.
