No need to turn on,just step on.Smart sleek,nice big wieght display.NO MEMORY,as my old scales had,but great value as price reduced.Looks great in black,and yes I did wiegh less on my new scales.so a even better bonus.

Look great, very sleek and slimline. Large easy to read dial. Unfortunately no good at weighing!! Very erratic readings from one minute to the next. As much as half a stone at times. Expected more from Salter! Returned for a refund.

Pros: Large easy to read display and platform. The display stays lit for several seconds after getting off scales. 3 different displays Kgs, lbs., and stones and lbs.

Got these home, looked great and seemed to work just fine for the first 48 hours then got an error message everytime we tried to use them after that!

everytime i go on the scales it has different readings so i still dont no my correct weight and as im on a diet this is most important to me not impressed

These are the best scales which i've owned. They are so accurate (to within a 1/4 pound), light weight and easy to store. I would recommend these to everyone. It beats going on the wii and having to lie about your weight :-)
