This LCD HDTV's impressive contrast ratio gives way to ineffective noise reduction and poor performance with interlaced video.

Three HDMI connections. Low price.

Interlaced video looked worse than it should. One component-video input.

Good for the price

 

Unfortunetly I cannot compare this unit to a competing brand, so all I have to say is that you should do your research in regards to different technologies available for big screen tvs.

Many inputs, quality manufacturer, amazing as a computer monitor at the right resolution, good at displaying SD tv. Decent hd tv for the price

Not the best at displaying HD tv. Colors can be too bright and too dark. 720p is granulated. Doesn't do well at higher resolutions on the computer

Great HDTV for starters

 

If this is your first HDTV like it is mine you will love it. The difference in picture quality from your old tube tv is amazing. If your on a budget try pairing this TV with the Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player, it is the most cost effective HD media player...

3 HDMI ports, built in ATSC tuner makes not having to pay the cable company any more money even better. Picture looks great with any HD broadcast. Makes playing computer games on a great feature. No dead pixels. PRICE

Like most other peoples reviews the remote could use some work. You have to go into the menu to switch over from normal cable to OTA broadcasts it would be nice if the remote had a button to switch over. Besides for the power button all of the controls...

Very 'supurb' TV

 

Amazing budget TV.

I love the TV, it has a wonderful picture. Perfect size for a medium sized apartment. Not too much light blead and low quality images still look really nice. I am waiting on my high def cable box to get the high def signal. Tons of inputs, 3x HDMI...

The website address listed for the wall mount is incorrect. Correct one is www.elitescreens.com/vsfreetvmount.htm --< found by e-mailing elitescreens asking. Other then that, wish that the TV had codes for my cable remote and surrond sound remote...

Good size, very good price.

A little clouding if watched from certain angles- changing brightness and other tweaks help a lot.

Replacement Unit Still Has Problems though a Workaround Exists

 

I am on my second n3751w ; I sent the first back after the unit would display only a blank screen

There are other 37' TVs that were on sale on Newegg for the same price. Its worth giving a shot. But overall, I am satisfied with the Viewsonic and if you don't mind the cons, you will be too.

Nice price. clear and bright display. I think the speakers are very adequate. The computer picture looks great (even for gaming)

I'm experiencing what some of the other reviews here are writing about. Namely, when the screen is showing a dark image, there are big gray cloudy spots which are very visible. After turning the TV on, the remote will not work for the first 30 seconds...
