Disappointing sound

When connected to the web it enables one to pick up back BBC programmes. When a satellite receiver is connected to the TV the picture quality is much better than the TV's picture quality, showing that the part of the TV which shows the picture is good....

Very poor sound through its internal speakers. When used via a hi-fi system the qality is good.

Its adaptable to other sony products.

Using the remote as a keypad with the same layout on the remote it- self.

Internet based apps are updated on a regular basis, although the testing of these does not always seem very thorough.

DLNA client does not support many container or codec formats. This is incredibly frustrating for the non-IT literate and for the IT literate. I spent many hours finding container and codec formats that work. There is no excuse for not including free...

Nice quality and a smart design, plenty of connectivity and internet features. Bravia link with Ps3, home cinema etc. good contast and image processing, natural colours.

Contrast not comparable with newer led models and the remote control is a little clunky looking. have had both the 40 inch model and the 46 inch set and both suffer from back light bleed which is a bit annoying but apparently common for lcd tellys.

no mirror effect unlike lg tvs. swivel stand,connections

Generally a great picture, especially with HD. Pre-set colour, contrast etc were almost spot-on for home use.

Some blurring of fast motion. I can no longer send sound direct from my source (Virgin Media HD box) to my amplifier because of horrible lip-synch problems - TV picture lags behind the sound. This was never a problem with previous TVs (all Panasonic)....

overall design 1st class. Brilliant picture .

Sound not as good as it could be

Very versatile product..

For the cost of this TV the wireless dongle should either be built in or supplied free or or sold for at least half the present price. If a dongle was sent to me free of charge i would be willing for shoppers with interest to contact me.
