Changing Volume Lock

I noticed a lot of people making mention of the sound being very bad on this LCD. The reason the volume may be low is you have to change the universal Volume Lock on your cable provider box, mine is Comcast. Its on the instructions with the remote....

I read the reviews but hoped I could get past the sound problem since the price was great. Picture is good but this tv may be a good tv for a child's bedroom. Not for a family room or entertainment tv for guests. I have adjusted the sound many times....
