Piece of Expensive Junk!

 

Great picture, while it lasted, which was one day AFTER the warranty expired. What an expensive piece of junk!!! Wouldn't recommend this TV to my worst enemy!

failed before its 2nd BD

 

Would NOT buy Sharp again.

picture was good while it lasted

got a horizontal line, then a week later black screen. Fix costs as much as a new TV. Sharp said it has a 1 year warranty. Since it was almost 2 years old they would offer nothing. I won't buy another Sharp product. Too much money for something that...

I normally go for cheap, but...

 

I purchased this TV on 12/26. Within an hour of turning it on the first time, it rebooted (turned it's self off and then back on). I then updated the firmware from the website. The problem remains, for every hour of use it will reboot 1 to 2 times....

Great picture (when it works, see cons)

1-Reboots (turned it’s self off and then back on) itself 1 to 2 times per hour ; 2-You can not name the inputs, not acceptable on a TV that cost this much ; 3-No “game” mode to reduce input latency

Good TV, but almost too large for current data stream provided by conventional media, e.g. BD. The TV has limited resolution, because at 70 inches there is not enough data to fill the screen and it loses crispness when compared to a 55 and 60 inch...
