As a screen for the living room of someone with loads of gadgets and a penchant for digital media, there is no better value choice than the LG 42LS570T.

Incredible picture and good sound quality. New swipe on/ off button. Still very new to us. I didn't want such a large screen TV but am gradually getting used to seeing such unforgiving close ups!

Very easy to setup and connect to home network. Excellent picture quality. Excellent value for money.

Far too may options on the home screen, most of which are of no interest to me. A personalised screen would be more useful. I only marked down the sound quality because I connect to my 7.1 sound system so I'll confess to being spoilt.

colour not sharp also had to send this item back due to sound cutting out when watching HD channels.
