The sound quality isn't great, which is made worse by having down-firing speakers, a common element among LCDs. This wasn't a problem for me because I route my audio through a pair of 2.1 speakers

The price it was on super sale with Newegg for $299 and of course it shipped here lighting fast which was great. The outside is very neutral no flashy branding which is good.

It all comes down to you get what you pay for I guess. Here I thought wow 1080p such a big screen for $299 can it be true. Well not in my case, not by a long shot. I tried HD cable through HDMI, HDTV antenna, the worst and one I just the most often is...
