Akai LCT32Z5TA 32" LCD HDTV

I would caution anyone to research AKAI consumer issues. I had the 27inch for about 18 months. It stopped working as the power would not go on. I found that this issue is universal with AKAI TVs and consumers are not getting any satisfaction with AKAI....

Its a really a good tv has a good resulution good pic, sound, really dsatisfy. i also whent back n bought another akai tv for the office room...

Power supply fried in 13 months. TV screen won't start. Seems lots of folks have same issue. No support. No parts available.

I purchased the previous model, LCT3285TA, in July '07. I've enjoyed the TV until the digital tuner starting giving problems. Upon powering up the TV, the screen would display "DTV Initial" in the upper right and the OTA channels would not display....

After looking at almost every TV known to man I settled on the Akai. I was very plesantly suprised

over all, a pretty good t.v.

For the $ this is a good TV, although the factory settings are poor and will look dull, custem set the colors to warm, and tweak the contrast. you will enjoy it. over air HD looks awsome also.

I had this TV less than a year and it did not function well at all. I am trying to get it repair with the warranty policy. The company and service are giving me HELL!Please do not purchase this product so you will not be frustrate like me.

You cannot use universal remote codes. If you have a cable or satellite box remote you cannot program it to operate this TV. TV started developing vertical colored lines after about 6 months. Tech support was no help. Color was never sharp. Do not buy!...
