Expertenbewertung von : Ben Drawbaugh (engadget.com)
It's been three and a half years since the last major TiVo release and while the company has offered some new features since -- via hardware revisions,
Very fast performance ; Six tuners ; Now comes with an RF remote ; Out-of-home streaming now an option
No HDMI-CEC ; Can be pricey with lifetime service ; Out-of-home streaming isn't always smooth ; Upgrading from an old TiVo is still tedious
The new TiVo Roamio addresses almost every major complaint we had previously. In short, it's most definitely the TiVo you've been waiting for.

The six-tuner, 3-terabyte Roamio Pro finally gives the TiVo faithful all the features they've wanted for years. No more add-ons, the TiVo Roamio, the company's best DVR yet, has it all built in.
Supports streaming and download to Android and iOS devices. Integrated Wi-Fi and MoCA. Six tuners. 450-hour HD recording capacity. Online content from Amazon, Blockbuster, Hulu Plus, Netflix, Pandora, and YouTube.
Digital cable only (requires CableCARD). Requires paid subscription. Out-of-home iOS streaming requires Wi-Fi. No support for HBO GO or Watch ESPN.
The speed of the menu system still has the occasional hiccup, as with any set-top box with a multi-pane UI, but overall the interface is starting to approach the responsiveness of the older Series 2 and 3 TiVo flat menus. Searching for programs that...
Expertenbewertung von : Joshua Goldman (cnet.com)
TiVo's most powerful DVR to date, the Roamio can record up to six things at once, extend to other rooms of your house, and even stream to your iOS devices. But these things don't come cheap.
The ; is the company's most powerful DVR to date with six tuners; 450 hours of HD storage; a healthy selection of streaming video, music, and photo services; a best-in-class DVR experience; the capability to stream and download to iOS devices; and easy...
Cable cutters and satellite subscribers will be disappointed that the Roamio Plus and Pro work with digital cable and Verizon Fios only. Only viewers in select Comcast markets can access their provider's pay-per-view or VOD content. The price is steep:...
If you're willing to pay the premium price, TiVo's do-it-all Roamio is the best cable DVR yet and an able whole-home TV solution.
Expertenbewertung von : Nilay Patel (theverge.com)
There is nothing more instantly dangerous to the average relationship than screwing up the TV. It's just a fact, crystallized in 50 years of jokes about remote controls: who's holding it, how...
Integrates cable TV and internet services like nothing else ; Fast, simple interface ; TV streaming to iOS devices ; Support for casting YouTube and Netflix from phones and tablets
Ridiculously expensive ; Amazon app is ancient ; Are you kidding me with these SD settings screens?
Outrageously expensive but worth it if you're paying for cable
Expertenbewertung von : Jonathan Knoder (toptenreviews.com)
Though the TiVo Roamio Pro is the most expensive unit we reviewed, it has plenty of features to justify its cost. The 3TB internal hard drive is the largest of any DVR we considered, and you have full control over video playback. It can also access...
The TiVo Roamio Pro has a 3TB hard drive – the largest of any DVR we reviewed.
It requires a monthly service subscription.
The Roamio Pro is a solid DVR with plenty of storage and simultaneous recording capacity, though it can’t record content from satellite.

Lifetime owner of two older Series 2 models that only needed hard drive swaps to keep treading water. Tivo sent me an offer to replace the oldest (10+ years) with a Roamio plus lifetime subscription. Jumped at the chance with the Pro version (most...
Improved performance, interface, and storage. Cablecard option is awesome! Apps for Amazon, Netflix streaming with more to come..
Costly if you pay retail but there are deals to be found

Kundenmeinung (bhphotovideo.com)
We do not watch programs when they come on. We record everything and then watch the shows at a time that is convenient for us. The TIVO model we bought has 6 tuners so we have not run into a problem of finding too many programs we are interested in...
Kundenmeinung (bhphotovideo.com)
This is by far the best Tivo yet and a great solution for an entire home. The Roamio lets you connect every television to the same unit. This allows all of you recordings to be contained on one unit and let you begin and end a show in different rooms....
