Great product. Easy to set up. Real Value for money. A lot less noisy than the other two Thomson's I've owned.

A bit of a pain if, like me, you don't want Top-up TV as it tends to concentrate on that especially when going through the TV Guide. Could also do with being able to still view TV whilest checking the guide but that's a minor annoyance.

Easy to set up and use, nice feature is the ability to record a series. For the price I am happy with the purchase.

Sometimes its a bit slow to respond to the remote control, you just have to wait a few seconds and try again.

Very easy to use - even our 7 year old can record and playback his programmes without having to ask how!

Fan VERY noisy when in standby - used to switch it off, but then we would miss planned recordings if not switched on next day! Still quite noisy when switched on - makes a whinning noise - often think its the children crying up stairs - put on mute and...

So far it has recorded everything I have set it for, with excellent quality.(Except for next comment)

It has 'frozen' and interrupted both the program and recording - but I found that happened occasionally with my previous Freeview box, so don't really blame the product.
