THE EARLIER TEFAL MODEL WAS SMALLER AND IT HAD DIFFERENT - INTERCHAGEBLE PLATES, FOR GRILLING - TOASTED SANDWICHES AND TO MAKE WAFFLES...WAS ONLY HALF THR PRICE....MY HAG DEVELLOPED AN ELECTRICAL FAULT AND HAD TO BE DICARDED....W.W.BODE

Removable plates and can stand on end

Good size. I run a B & B so need to be able to cook several rashers of bacon at a time and I can just about get 6 on this Grill.

I have never used anything metal on the grill and only used hot soapy water and a cloth to clean it , but the grill plates do lose their non stick coating quite quickly. Which is a real downside.

Multi use, large cooking surface area. Detachable hot plates (a godsend :)

Its not cheap so be sure you actually want it and/or use it.

We didnt try it but the reviews were very good.

It was too large for our kitchen - details of the dimensions werent available on the website or we would have realised this.

Grill plates can be put in dishwasher and unit stands on its back when not in use
