Not too noisy, and a godsend in the heat

Hose was a bit short so a fair bit of wasted energy in cooling the hot air coming in from the open window. A tad longer and I could have closed the curtains to stop the warm (night air) coming in.

fan can be quite loud especially in a bedroom at night

Thought it would 'turn off' with the thermostat function once it had reached it's temperature, but simply reverts to the fan without the 'cooling'. Not great for energy consumption.
