After 2 years of minimum use (maybe 5-10 times) the motor is completely out.  And conveniently, the warranty just ended.

I am extremely happy with this window unit - it was very heavy however and I had to get help installing.  Love the remote and the energy saver setting.  We got this just before a horrific heat wave and it made life much easier!

CONS: The front grill and some of the other plastic components are so cheaply made, you'll have to take great care in assembling the air conditioner so as not to break anything.  You may also need to drill out some of the holes for mounting the side...
