Great machine. Too bad they do not support it any longer.

In spite of the above issues, we loved our machine and would be happy to have its deficiencies repaired but will be forced to settle for a new machine. The coffee is richly flavoured. Machine is nicely styled. We paired this with the KitchenAid grinder...

This was our first "dive" into more expensive espresso machines and it was a very positive experience until the unit began experiencing problems after about a year and a half. We would purchase one again but they are no longer available in Canada and...

The unit developed an internal leak and water condenses inside the two dials making reading next to impossible. Water comes out between the two halves of the machine (top and bottom half). The on/off switch and espresso switch act up occasionally. The...

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 3 times... I don't think so.

I bacame a coffee snob after making frequent trips to Switzerland and getting hooked on the best. Then my wife got hooked and we decided to "invest" in a high quality drip maker. Started with the Capresso grinder. A good grinder grinds the coffee...

Looks very robust. While it works, it makes good coffee. Keeps coffee HOT so drink or serve it fast or it will burn

Pot drips if poured too fast. Steam causes puddles if pot is put in straight and not side ways. Has to be pulled out from under cupboard in order to fill with water. Water filters are expensive (aren't they all?). Coffee filter basket can be tricky...

Dissapointing commercial-style wannabe...

Bought this machine per advice on CoffeeGeek that this machine heats water to the magic 200F temperature out of the spigot prior to hitting the coffee grounds - not even close! Running several pots thru the machine revealed a max spigot temperature of...

Well built, cast aluminum body ; Stainless steel boiler ; Boiler is now rated at 1350W, not 1250W

Does NOT reach 200F ; Cannot turn off plate warmer ; Extra plate warmer and carafe is no longer included with product

It's a good machine with a few limitations, but overpriced unless a deal can be found.

I used the machine for around nine months and really have mixed feelings about it. I think that at it's heart, it's basically a good machine with a few somewhat serious flaws, the biggest of which is the price.

Dual boilers ; Reasonable temp stability ; Gaggia parts ; Fairly easy for beginners to use ; Decent sized drip tray

Small Gaggia Aluminum boilers ; Terrible froth enhancer ; Limited steaming ability ; Concerns about machine longetivity

The only Gaggia Dual boiler, 3way valve, adjustable OPV, exact same performance as a Gaggia Classic with more convenient steaming ability.

Bottom line this is a great machine for anyone who wants an easy to use espresso machine.

Built by Gaggia, Dual boiler, 3way valve, adjustable OPV, exact same performance as a gaggia classic with more convenient steaming ability

This product was doomed to failure by poor marketing. It is not worth the original $800+ price tag, though now that they have dropped the price its a great deal. Current price is under $500.00 ; More difficult to install a pid, replacement parts may...

Wonderful simple machine built exceptionally well

After cursing my previous Delonghi I decided to search for a much better drip machine. I have always been a Kitchenaid fan so decided to give the Proline machine a try. This was prior to my learning of the Techivorm. Though I specifically was...

Simple Design ; Correct water Brew Temp ; Great Customer Service and Warranty ; Built Solid

Hit and miss on function longevity. Get one that functions properly you will not be sorry ; Pour spout can be a bit testy as the hinge hangs up, I trimmed and finally removed leaving the lid only ; If carafe is placed on the warmer with handle...

A beautiful, well built solid machine that lives up to KitchenAid's quality trademark.

For $199 how can you go wrong? This was a refurbished machine I purchased direct from KitchenAid. This is my 1st espresso machine; it has the 58mm basket. The water receptable in the rear of the machine is large and easy to access. The machine is...

Looks Great ; Typical Solidly Built KitchenAid Product ; Aesthetically the lines of the machine flow perfectly with my KitchenAid Pro Line Grinder (both are Empire Red in color)

Heavy and Big (some people might not care for this ... )

Pricey and, even if it does take a bit more effort, oh so worth it!

It's all Starbucks' fault!! It started one morning about five years ago while on vacation in Scottsdale. An early morning, pre-dawn visit to the local Starbucks led to a chat with the area/district manager, whose offer to brew up several pots of...

Hot, Hot, Hot ; Good cup of Joe

At the factory refurb price, this thing is great, at full retail, I'd be very hesitant, but it's such eye candy too.

Temp stability seems great, espresso is equal to my Gaggia Baby D and WAY better than Breville Cafe Roma or Krups Nuvo.

Fantastic looks, heavy tank like construction, 58mm heavy PF, room to work, Gaggia internals, two boilers and no waiting between steaming and brewing. The manual is great, and 6 mo. refurb warranty is great. At $199.00 factory refurb is a steal,...

Switches feel a little cheap and fragile, other than that this thing rocks
