My mom bought this coffee pot for me after my last one broke.  I'm pretty sure that she never read any reviews on this product before buying it....it was on sale for $26 at Wal-Mart.

it's useful, but that doesn't excuse bad design

 

I bought this machine to replace a coffee maker I very much liked, but thought the thermal carafe was a great idea. I got it cheap and that sure helps, doesn't it? I'd been pricing these for about 2 years so when it got down to $40, I went for it.

The thermal pot keeps my coffee hot and auto-brew works well

Looks good but coffee is mediocre at best.

 

The unit shuts itself off after brewing the coffee which saves electricity.

The coffee is never hot and it is annoying to constantly reheat your coffee.
