Philips products are a brand name you can trust.

It serves it purpose for me. I've never had a nice system like Bose or anything so I have nothing to compare it to. I've got it hooked up to my computer and have no complaints with the exception of the dock.

Sound quality from the 6 speakers is about 85% as good as my former $1,000 Bose system so for under $200 this is a no-brainer. Have read a few reports of DOA or erratic behavior units but mine has been trouble-free for over a year & years of experience...

Philips offers a Buyback option if you're first Rapid Replacement does not work. It's slightly uncomfortable they even have such a contingency plan for their products.
