-sound is great. great features. Works well when its not defective

Common issue with all similar Onkyo units (due to shoddy HDMI chip apparently) is that sound will suddenly stop working after 6 months to 4 years. Randomly Mine took 4 years (happened intermittently before then) so now its out of warranty.

Mostly got it to decode DTS audio from HD streams from the roku. It works perfectly for that. No complaints. Wii U sounds good to.

Gets pretty warm but not to bad.

The system is pretty easy to setup and configure. The on screen settings helps a lot. The sound is actually pretty good for the price on the system. I have a larger living room and the sound fills the room pretty good. I am very happy about this system...

Could be louder Sub is not powered on its own

Have only had this system for three days, but I have put it thru its paces. This Onkyo (HT-S3500) preforms like a high dollar unit. Has all the bells and whistles you would want and expect in a high end unit. You can not get more bang for your buck!...

Great surround sound system. I've owned mine for about a year now, and I couldn't be happier. Great sound, great value, lots of options with the HDMI pass through. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a nice surround...

The features are not explained very well in the owners manual.

The receiver seems nice. No problems with that so far.

I have used this set of speakers and receiver for the past 8 months and recently I started to hear this chirping noise out of one of the speakers. A little frustrated about that.

Easy setup and the speakers are good. On screen menu is good and allows for quick customization.

I have had issues with the receiver randomly powering itself off since I got it and now I have to push the power button 3-4 times to get it to stay on.

Easy to set-up as color coded. 4 hdmi inputs right size for small living room
