Hope they provide a better holding device, the one come with the unit is not as good as the older unit one.

When I initially purchased this unit, it was still on Version 1 software, and had quite a few bugs; after several upgrades in that area, taking it to version 2.42, the software was pretty solid, and the routings were almost always exactly what I'd have...

I was given this model as a gift, way better than any other GPS i have used. It has a nice mounting function so you don't have to remove the entire mount, just the GPS slides off. Lightweight so you can easily slip it into your jacket pocket or purse...

I am very bad with direction. when I visit a new town or city I always gets lost. with this gadget at least I can get back home.

I have to admit, before purchasing the 1475t, I was mainly a Garmin user. Actually I just purchased the Garmin 765t, and was hugely disappointed by it. What is important to me on a GPS is POIs. Without them it's like driving in the middle of nowhere...
