If your playing MP3s, your not getting the most out of this setup. Audio quality is great with this, try playing some CDs or FLAC files. This thing really sings when you use high quality content.

Audio clarity is unbelievable, when used with the correct content. It will play at it's max volume setting for 24 hours straight and not blow a speaker or tweeter, it's rated for it. It's LOUD, but when you turn the volume up it never gets muddy

The SP2500 have great distortion free sound. Easy setup. Wish they had digital output but it wasn't a deal breaker

Since I have had them I have had nothing but trouble with the volume controller. It refuses to recognize when a headphones are plugged in. The speakers still stay on and there is no headphone icon on the screen. So I cannot use them for quiet gaming....
